Patisserie Amie (and now Chez Peres ) is Northern Michigan's only authentic French Bistro. We're located in the heart of downtown Traverse City, Michigan just a stone's throw from the Boardman River and a few blocks from Lake Michigan. Forget any pretense or fanciful impressions of white linen and maitre d. Patisserie is a relaxing French holiday for your palette. Our food is elegant but very much down to Earth. Imagine that small cafe' on the Champs-E'lyse'es where you had a perfectly flaky croissant. Or the bistro near the Sorbonne where the waitress' lilting accent made you melt like the butter on your hot baguette.
